Karl Krummes (b. 1996) is a versatile and curious painter who, through his oeuvre, seeks to demonstrate a willingness to distance his works from places with expected outcomes. He is fascinated by how society shapes us, and his inspiration often comes from the arenas we are thrust into in childhood and later reflected upon in adulthood.

He is currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen, and he will complete his MFA in the summer of 2026.
